The product helps with dry coughs by soothing irritated mucous membranes. The mechanism of action of SABE belle ALTEAflu cough syrup: Barrier function: Forms a protective film that adheres to the mucous membrane and limits contact with irritants. SABE belle ALTEAflu cough syrup is suitable for dry coughs from the age of 12.

Active ingredients
- Polisedox® active ingredient complex:The complex consists of extracts of ribwort plantain, mallow and marshmallow, titrated in mucopolysaccharides. It forms a protective film on the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract and protects it from irritants. The molecular study carried out on the complex shows that more than 30% of the mucilage has a molecular weight of > 20,000 daltons. This confirms its ability to form a protective film on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and to protect these mucous membranes from irritants such as viruses, bacteria, allergens, cigarette smoke, smog and dust.
- Acacia honey: Honey consists mainly of carbohydrates, water, organic acids, mineral salts and proteins. Its viscosity allows it to adhere well to the mucous membrane. As honey is a highly concentrated sugar solution, it removes a vital element from pathogens by osmosis: water. Honey also has a very acidic pH value (3-4), which inhibits bacterial proliferation.
- Immortelle: Immortelle supports the well-being of the nose and throat. With its fresh herbal flavour, it soothes irritated mucous membranes.
- Grindelia: Grindelia is an excellent phytotherapeutic agent to support the functioning of the upper respiratory tract. It gives the product a fresh herbal flavour, has a moisturising effect, soothes the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and protects the voice.
- Propolis: Propolis consists mainly of resins, balsams and wax. It is rich in flavonoids and also contains a proportion of essential oils that support its germ-inhibiting effect.
- Eucalyptus essential oil: Thanks to its refreshing effect and fresh herbal flavour, it relieves discomfort such as irritation and scratchy throat caused by coughing.
Target group
- Adults and children from the age of 12 who complain of an irritating cough.
- Adults and children aged 12 and over who complain of irritation in the throat, dry throat and hoarseness.
Safety
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more ingredients. In the event of intolerance or other side effects, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If there is no improvement in the cough and irritation after 5-7 days, consult a doctor. Do not use after the expiry date. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged. If your doctor has diagnosed you with an intolerance to certain substances, ask for advice before taking the product. The cough syrup contains fruit sugar (fructose). Fructose can have a laxative effect in large quantities. People suffering from diabetes mellitus or following a low-calorie diet must take this into account.

How to use
- It is recommended to take 10 ml two to four times a day. Use the measuring cup provided. Shake before use.
- Close the bottle carefully after use. Once opened, consume within 3 months.
