BRONCHOSTOP® cough lozenges are a traditional herbal medicinal product designed to help clear stubborn, thick mucus associated with a cough caused by a cold.

The use of this herbal medicine for the stated indication is based solely on long-standing use. If you do not feel better after 5 days, or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor.

The active ingredients in thyme support the expulsion of stubborn, thick mucus thanks to their expectorant and bronchodilatory properties. The essential oil of thyme also has antiseptic properties.

If required, adults should allow 1–2 lozenges to dissolve in the mouth (max. 12 lozenges per day). For children up to 12 years of age, a maximum of 3 lozenges per day.
Suitable for children aged 6 and over and adults!

Active ingredient

Thyme: Thyme is not only an interesting culinary herb, but also an important medicinal plant for treating coughs and as a disinfectant. Its greatest strength lies in its beneficial effect on coughs. The active ingredients in thyme help to loosen and expel stubborn, thick phlegm. The essential oil of thyme, which is also present in the dry extract, also has antiseptic properties.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 to 2 lozenges every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day).
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 1 lozenge 3 times a day.
Children under 6 years of age: Use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended, as there is insufficient data available and medical advice should be sought.

Method of administration: For oral use (allow to dissolve in the mouth by sucking).

Duration of use: Self-treatment with BRONCHOSTOP® cough lozenges should be limited to 5 days. If no significant improvement has occurred by then, you should consult a doctor, as a more serious condition may be present.

The active ingredient is: dried thyme extract
1 lozenge contains 59.5 mg of dried thyme extract (Thymi herba, drug-to-extract ratio 7–13 : 1; extraction solvent: water)
The other ingredients are: gum arabic (E 414), fructose, sorbitol (E 420), maltodextrin, citric acid (E 330), sodium saccharin (E 954), aronia flavouring, wild berry flavouring, liquid paraffin, bleached wax (E 901), purified water
