Allernon® is an anti-allergy medicine (antihistamine).

Allernon® 10 mg tablets are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and chronic, idiopathic urticaria (hives, with itching, redness and wheals on the skin).

It has an antipruritic and decongestant effect and reduces excessive fluid secretion from the mucous membranes.

Non-prescription (may only be given to children under 12 years of age with a doctor's prescription) and only available in pharmacies.

Directions for use

Adults

One tablet daily.

Use in children from 2 years and adolescents

With a body weight of 30 kg or less: half a tablet daily.
For a body weight of over 30 kg: one tablet daily.

Use in children under 2 years of age

The safety and efficacy of Allernon 10 mg tablets in children under 2 years of age has not been established.

Method of administration

Take the tablets whole with a little liquid.
They can be taken independently of meals.
The tablet can be divided into equal doses.

Ingredients

The active substance is: loratadine. 1 tablet contains 10 mg loratadine.

The other ingredients are Lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone and magnesium stearate.
