APOZEMA Sinusitis Kalium bichromicum complex No. 31 drops are a homeopathic combination remedy consisting of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal pictures complement each other.
Indications
The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:
- Catarrh of the paranasal sinuses, especially of the frontal and maxillary sinuses.
The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in these indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these diseases, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicinal product is used in adults, adolescents and children from 3 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.
Properties of the ingredients
- Potassium bichromicum (potassium dichromate): Typical parts of the remedy picture are persistent runny nose, blocked nose and painful pressure at the root of the nose and in the sinuses.
- Calcium sulphuricum (precipitated calcium sulphate) has inflammatory processes and chronic mucosal affections as its remedy picture.
- Hydrastis (Canadian turmeric) is a remedy with a relationship to the respiratory tract and the nasal area. The remedy picture shows chronic catarrh of the nose as well as the frontal and paranasal sinuses.
- Luffa (loofah fruit) has a remedy picture of rhinitis and hay fever. The nose is blocked, the throat is dry and scratchy.
- Silicea (silicic acid) is a constitutional remedy that acts on the nose and upper respiratory tract.

Directions for use
- Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: At the onset of symptoms 21 drops every half hour to hour max. 8 times a day, up to 4 times a day at the onset of improvement.
- Children from 6 to 12 years: At the onset of symptoms 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 6 times a day, at the onset of improvement up to 3 times a day.
- Children from 3 to 6 years: At the onset of symptoms, 7 drops diluted in a little water max. 3 times a day, with the onset of improvement up to 2 times a day.
- Use in children: Use in children under 3 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.
- Route of administration: Oral use, spread on the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue. Reduce the frequency of use when the symptoms improve.
- Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.
Ingredients
- The active ingredients are: 100 g (corresponding to 107.5 ml) contain: Potassium bichromicum Dil. D12 2.0 g; Calcium sulfuricum Dil D6 2.0 g; Hydrastis canadensis Dil D4 2.0 g; Luffa operculata Dil D4 2.0 g and Acidum silicicum (Silicea) Dil. D8 2.0 g.
- The other ingredients are: ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water, traces of lactose monohydrate.
- Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1g = approx. 49 drops.
