- Thyme (Thymus vulgaris ) is widely used in Central Europe and has a firm place both in the kitchen and in various folk medicine applications. The leaves and flowers as well as the essential oil extracted from them are used. It helps to improve the symptoms of colds with thick mucus. The fragrant herb soothes the airways and is soothing for colds with an irritating cough.
- Star anise (Illicium verum) is an evergreen tree native to the tropics, where it is an integral part of cooking and medicine. The dried star-shaped fruits with their shiny brown seeds are used to extract the essential oil. This and the ground fruits help to loosen mucus in the respiratory tract and at the same time make it easier to cough up phlegm.
- The eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) and other members of the same family are originally native to Australia and New Zealand. In addition to its function as a food and useful plant, the leaves and twigs of the evergreen and fast-growing tree are used to extract the characteristically fragrant essential oil. The oil clears the airways and its cooling effect has a beneficial effect on blocked noses. The oil also helps to decongest the mucous membranes and cough up mucus. All these properties and the improvement in blood circulation help to alleviate the symptoms of colds. Eucalyptus also prevents bacteria from multiplying and soothes coughs.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults (aged 18 and over): 2 to 3 times daily 1 capsule.
- Adolescents (12-17 years): 1 to 2 times daily 1 capsule.
- Route of administration: Take whole and with sufficient liquid.
- Open one capsule with a pin up to 3 times a day, add the contents to ½ litre of boiling water and then carefully inhale the resulting water vapour. Inhalation also suitable for adolescents.

- Nutritional values per 3 capsules: Calorific value 60 kJ/15 kcal Fat 1.5 g of which saturated fatty acids 0.2 g, monounsaturated fatty acids 0.7 g polyunsaturated fatty acids 0.6 g, carbohydrates 0 g of which sugar 0 g, protein 0 g, salt 0 g.
- Ingredients per capsule: Thyme essential oil 100 mg, star anise essential oil 100 mg, eucalyptus essential oil 100 mg.
