Tavipec capsules are a herbal medicine for treating the symptoms of acute bronchitis and as a supportive treatment for inflammation of the sinuses or coughs associated with a cold.
If a high temperature occurs or the symptoms do not improve after 7 days, a doctor should be consulted. Tavipec capsules are used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.
Tavipec liquefies viscous and stuck mucus and thus restores the balance of a healthy mucous membrane. The cilia of the respiratory tract thus become more mobile and can better fulfil their transport function. The self-cleaning mechanism of the mucous membrane is restored. The enteric-coated capsules from Tavipec have a mucolytic and expectorant effect.

Directions
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 2 capsules 3 times daily.
- Children: As there is insufficient data available, use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended.
- Method of administration: Oral use. The capsules should be taken unchewed ½ hour before meals with sufficient liquid.
- Duration of use: If the symptoms worsen or last longer than 7 days, a doctor must be consulted.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: spikenard oil (Spicae aetheroleum).
- The other ingredients are: Capsule shell: gelatine, glycerol 85%, quinoline yellow (E-104), yellow orange (E-110), capsule coating: methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, sodium dodecyl sulphate, propylene glycol, polysorbate 80, glycerol monostearate.
