Ambroxol Genericon® 30 mg tablets are a medicinal product containing the active substance ambroxol hydrochloride. This helps with acute and chronic respiratory diseases. It loosens congested and viscous secretions from the bronchial wall and makes it easier to cough up.

Ambroxol Genericon is preferably used with plenty of liquid for mucolytic treatment and thus for support in acute and chronic respiratory diseases (bronchial tubes and lungs).

If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 to 5 days, consult your doctor.

Dissolves stuck mucus and makes it easier to cough up mucus in congested airways

If thick mucus in the bronchial tubes makes breathing difficult and a persistent cough torments you, Ambroxol Genericon® tablets help to gently but effectively clear the airways. The active ingredient ambroxol hydrochloride loosens stuck mucus and makes it easier to cough up so that you can breathe again more quickly.

Directions

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: one tablet twice daily. In severe cases, the dosage can be increased to one tablet three times daily after consultation with your doctor.
Children under 12 years of age: Ambroxol Genericon 30 mg tablets are not suitable for use in children under 12 years of age due to the high active substance content. Ambroxol Genericon solution and Ambroxol Genericon juice are available for children under 12 years of age.
Route and duration of administration: Oral use. Take the tablets after meals, unchewed with plenty of liquid. If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 to 5 days, consult your doctor. Note The mucolytic effect of Ambroxol Genericon is enhanced by drinking plenty of fluids. The break notch is only used to divide the tablet if you have difficulty swallowing it whole.
