The active substance ibuprofen contained in ib-u-ron is a so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug ("NSAID") and has analgesic (pain-relieving), antipyretic (fever-reducing) and anti-inflammatory (antiphlogistic) effects.

ib-u-ron 150 mg suppositories are used for mild to moderate pain and/or fever.

Suitable for use in children from 3 years of age/ 15 kg body weight. May only be given to children under twelve years of age with a doctor's prescription.

Active ingredients: 1 suppository contains 150 mg ibuprofen.

Intended use

Children 3-5 years (15-19kg):

Single dose: 1 suppository (150mg ibuprofen)
Max. Daily dose (24h): 3 suppositories (450mg ibuprofen)

Children 6-9 years (20-29kg):

Single dose: 1 suppository (150mg ibuprofen)
Max. Daily dose (24h): 4 suppositories (600mg ibuprofen)

The interval between two applications must be at least 6 hours.

Method of administration:

For rectal use. The suppositories should be inserted deep into the anus after a bowel movement if possible. To improve lubrication, warm the suppositories in your hand or dip them briefly in warm water.

The active ingredient is: Ibuprofen. 1 suppository contains 150 mg ibuprofen . The other ingredient is: hard fat.
