ben-u-ron juice, 100 ml

Paracetamol, the active ingredient in ben-u-ron, is one of the so-called non-acidic antipyretics and has pain-relieving (analgesic) and fever-reducing (antipyretic) effects. ben-u-ron syrup is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever.

Suitable for all age groups weighing 3 kg or more. Paracetamol must only be given to children under 3 years of age on medical advice.

ben-u-ron is also available as suppositories in various strengths to ensure the correct dosage for different age groups.

Directions for use

The bottle must be shaken vigorously before use. A dosing syringe with a measuring scale is included in the pack to ensure accurate dosing. Please refer to the package leaflet for dosage recommendations.

Please use this dosing syringe as described below:

1. Open the child-resistant cap on the bottle. To do this, press the cap downwards whilst turning it anti-clockwise in the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert the clean, dry dosing syringe into the neck of the bottle so that it sits firmly in the syringe adapter until it stops.
3. To fill the dosing syringe without introducing air bubbles, carefully turn the bottle upside down. Hold the dosing syringe firmly and slowly pull the plunger down to the desired dose in millilitres (ml). The corresponding blue mark should be visible immediately below the top of the syringe barrel. If air bubbles are present or if you have dispensed more than the desired mark, you can push the syringe plunger upwards to return all or part of the juice and dispense the correct amount again. If more than 5 ml is required per dose, the dosing syringe must be filled several times as necessary.
4. Return the bottle with the dosing syringe attached to an upright position and remove the dosing syringe from the bottle neck by gently twisting it whilst pulling it out.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: paracetamol 1 bottle containing 100 ml of syrup contains 4,000 mg of paracetamol. 1 dosing syringe containing 5 ml of syrup contains 200 mg of paracetamol. The other ingredients are: purified water, sucrose (sugar), sodium citrate, tragacanth, citric acid monohydrate, cream flavouring, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E 216), yellow orange S (E 110).
