ADOLORIN Ibuforte DIREKT 400 mg oral suspension. The stick TO GO for quick and direct intake without water. With the proven active ingredient ibuprofen.

This medicine contains ibuprofen and belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/anti-rheumatic drugs (NSAIDs). These have an analgesic and antipyretic effect.

ADOLORIN Ibuforte DIREKT 400 mg oral suspension is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over with a body weight of 40 kg or more.

If you do not feel better or even worse and you need to take this medicine for longer than 3 days in adolescents or longer than 4 days in adults in the case of pain or longer than 3 days in the case of fever, consult your doctor.

For the short-term symptomatic treatment of:

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over with a body weight of 40 kg or more: The initial dose is 400 mg ibuprofen (1 sachet). If necessary, this dose can then be administered every 6 to 8 hours. The maximum total daily dose must not exceed 1200 mg (3 sachets) of ibuprofen . You can reduce unwanted side effects by usingthe lowest effective dose for the shortest period necessary to control symptoms.
Children under 12 years of age and adolescents weighing less than 40kg: Due to the high dosage of ibuprofen in one sachet, this medicine must not be administered to children under 12 years of age and adolescents weighing less than 40kg.

Duration of use

If adolescents need to take this medicine for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor immediately.
In adults, if you need to take this medicine for more than 3 days for fever or more than 4 days for pain or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor immediately .

Instructions for use

Oral use.
Squeeze the contents of one sachet of ADOLORIN Ibuforte DIREKT 400 mg oral suspension directly into the mouth and drink a glass of water if necessary.
For patients with a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the medicine during meals.
The sachet has an elongated shape with a marking line at the top for tearing open and squeezing out the contents.
Before opening, knead the sachet vigorously to mix the ingredients.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is ibuprofen.
Each sachet contains 400 mg ibuprofen in 10 ml oral suspension.
The other ingredients are: sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid, anhydrous (E330), sodium citrate (E331), saccharin sodium (E954), sodium chloride, hypromellose (type 2910) (E464), xanthan gum, maltitol solution (E965), glycerol (99.8%) (E422) (Ph.Eur.), strawberry flavouring (contains nature-identical flavourings, natural flavour preparations, maize maltodextrin, triethyl citrate (E1505), propylene glycol (E1520) and benzyl alcohol), thaumatin (E957), purified water.
