Nurofen contains 200 mg ibuprofen. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines affect the body's response to pain, swelling and increased temperature.
Nurofen is used for:
- symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache and period pain
- fever reduction
- Nurofen is used in adults and adolescents over the age of 12.
If you do not feel better or even worse, consult your doctor:
- in adolescents after 3 days
- in adults after 3 days of fever or after 4 days of pain.
The melting tablet melts quickly on the tongue. They can be taken without water.

Intended use
Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache and menstrual pain. Fever Nurofen is indicated for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age - 1 to 2 orodispersible tablets: Initial dose 200 mg to 400 mg ibuprofen, then, if necessary, 200 mg to 400 mg ibuprofen every 4-6 hours. The total dose must not exceed 1200 mg ibuprofen within a 24-hour period. Elderly persons: No special dose adjustment required.
- Route of administration: Oral use. Allow the orodispersible tablet to dissolve on the tongue and swallow the dissolved orodispersible tablet mass. Additional liquid intake is not necessary.
- Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse, consult your doctor: - after 3 days in adolescents - after 3 days of fever or after 4 days of pain in adults.

- The active ingredient is: Ibuprofen. Each melting tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen.
- The other ingredients are: Ethylcellulose, precipitated silicon dioxide, hypromellose, mannitol, aspartame (E 951), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, flavouring (lemon).
