The active substance ibuprofen contained in ib-u-ron is a so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug ("NSAID") and has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. ib-u-ron 75 mg suppositories are used for mild to moderate pain and/or fever.
Suitable for use in children from 8 months/7.5 kg body weight. May only be given to children under twelve years of age with a doctor's prescription.
For children over 2 years of age, ib-u-ron is available in a more suitable strength.

Directions for use
Babies 8 to 12 months (7.5-9kg):
- Single dose: 1 suppository (75mg ibuprofen)
- Max. Daily dose (24h): 3 suppositories (225mg ibuprofen)
Infants 12 months to 2 years (10 - 12kg):
- Single dose: 1 suppository (75mg ibuprofen)
- Max. Daily dose (24h): 4 suppositories (300mg ibuprofen)
The interval between two applications must be at least 6 hours.
Method of administration:
For rectal use. The suppositories should be inserted deep into the anus after a bowel movement if possible. To improve lubrication, warm the suppositories in your hand or dip them briefly in warm water.
