WICK Nasivin Children 0.025 % - nasal drops, 10 ML

WICK Nasivin Children 0.025 % nasal drops are a medicine containing the active ingredient: oxymetazoline hydrochloride, for the topical treatment of the common cold (acute, allergic or runny nose). For children from 6 years of age.

By dripping the solution into both nostrils, the inflamed nasal mucosa swells and the excessive secretion is reduced. This allows free breathing through the nose. At the same time, the ear trumpets are kept clear and the pharyngeal mucosa is decongested.

In addition, the active ingredient has proven antiviral, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. The effect of WICK Nasivin Children starts within a few minutes and lasts for up to 12 hours.

WICK Nasivin Classic is used

• for the treatment of acute rhinitis (rhinitis acuta), allergic rhinitis (rhinitis allergica) and runny nose (rhinitis vasomotorica).
• To facilitate the drainage of secretions in cases of sinusitis and tubal catarrh associated with rhinitis.
• for diagnostic decongestion of mucous membranes.

Directions for use

• Infants and pre-school children (1 - 6 years): With the head bent back, instil 1-2 drops into each nostril 2-3 times a day using a pipette. Use in children aged 1-6 years only if prescribed by a doctor.
• Schoolchildren (6-12 years): With the head bent back, instil 2-3 drops 2-3 times a day into each nostril using the pipette.
  
• Method of application: For nasal application. Apply to both nostrils.
• Duration of treatment: Treatment with WICK Nasivin Children should be as short as possible and must not exceed a period of 7 days if used continuously. If the symptoms have not subsided after 7 days of using WICK Nasivin Children, a doctor should be consulted before continuing treatment.
• Advice: Other preparations with a higher concentration of active ingredients are available for adults, adolescents and schoolchildren (from 6 years of age).

What WICK Nasivin Children 0.025 % - Nasal Drops contains:

• The active ingredient is: oxymetazoline hydrochloride. 1 ml solution (= 40 drops) contains 0.25 mg oxymetazoline hydrochloride. 1 drop contains 6.25 micrograms oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
• The other ingredients are: benzalkonium chloride solution 50 %, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol 85 % and purified water.
