Grippostad® Guaifenesin 100 mg/ml cough drops loosen the thick mucus in the airways and make it easier to cough up. This relieves the urge to cough in the case of upper respiratory tract colds.

Guaifenesin, the active ingredient in Grippostad Guaifenesin, loosens the thick mucus in the airways and makes it easier to cough up. This relieves the urge to cough in the case of upper respiratory tract colds.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 5 days, consult your doctor.

How to use

Adults and adolescents from 12 - 18 years: 30 to 60 drops up to 4 times a day
Use in children Children from 6 - 12 years: up to 30 drops up to 4 times a day
As there is no experience regarding efficacy and safety, and due to the alcohol content, Grippostad Guaifenesin must not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Route of administration: Oral use. The drops should be taken with water or tea or a lump of sugar. The specified dose should not be exceeded. Hold the bottle vertically when counting the drops. In addition to taking the medicine, plenty of fluids (e.g. in the form of tea, fruit juice, etc.) are recommended. Grippostad Guaifenesin should not be used together with other cough and cold remedies.
Duration of use: If there is no noticeable improvement in the mucus-producing cough after 5 days of treatment, please consult your doctor. The maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 2 weeks.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: guaifenesin. 1 g Grippostad Guaifenesin (= 30 drops) contains 100 mg guaifenesin.
The other ingredients are: Glycerol anhydrous, saccharin, star anise oil, anethole, ethanol.
