Grippostad® C capsules, 24 ST

Grippostad® C is a medicine for simple colds. It contains the active ingredients paracetamol, ascorbic acid, caffeine and chlorphenamine maleate.

Grippostad® C is used for the symptomatic treatment of common complaints such as headache, aching limbs, runny nose and dry cough in the context of a common cold. Grippostad® C has an antipyretic effect in cases of fever or increased body temperature.

Due to the fixed combination of active ingredients in Grippostad® C, no individual dose adjustment can be made for complaints that predominantly affect one of the symptoms mentioned. In such situations, medicines with a different composition are preferable.

Grippostad® C should not be taken for longer than 3 days without consulting a doctor.

Grippostad® C capsules combine four well-matched active ingredients. This well-tolerated combination of active ingredients is used to treat common symptoms such as headaches, aching limbs, colds and dry coughs associated with a simple cold. Grippostad® C capsules help you feel fit quickly.

• Paracetamol helps to relieve headaches and aching limbs and to reduce fever.
• Chlorphenamine belongs to the group of antihistamines and helps to reduce the production of nasal mucus, making it easier to breathe.

At the same time, it alleviates an irritating cough. It also inhibits excessive mucus secretion. The caffeine contained in Grippostad® capsules enhances the pain-relieving effect of paracetamol. It makes it possible to reduce the dose of paracetamol and thus relieves the body by reducing the amount of painkillers. Grippostad® C capsules contain ascorbic acid, better known as vitamin C.

Active ingredients

• Chlorphenamine: decongests the nasal mucosa and soothes coughs
• Vitamin C: supports the immune system
• Paracetamol: analgesic and antipyretic
• Caffeine: enhances the analgesic and antipyretic effect of paracetamol

Dosage form

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over -- 2 capsules 3 times daily.
• Route of administration: Take the capsule with sufficient non-alcoholic liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).
• Duration of use: Grippostad® C must not be taken for longer than 3 days without consulting a doctor. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Grippostad® C is too strong or too weak.

Ingredients

• The active ingredients are: Paracetamol, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), caffeine and chlorphenamine maleate. 1 capsule contains 200 mg paracetamol, 150 mg ascorbic acid, 25 mg caffeine and 2.5 mg chlorphenamine maleate.
• The other ingredients are gelatine, glycerol tristearate, lactose monohydrate, quinoline yellow (E104), erythrosine (E127), titanium dioxide (E171).
