Soledum 200 mg capsules contain the active ingredient cineole. Soledum 200 mg capsules is an anti-inflammatory and mucolytic medicine for treating the symptoms of bronchitis and colds of the respiratory tract and as an additional treatment for chronic and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, e.g. sinusitis.
This medicine is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.
Active ingredient
- 1,8-cineole is the main valuable constituent of eucalyptus oil and the active ingredient of Soledum® capsules. 1,8-cineole has a strong anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect and is used to treat bronchitis, colds and sinusitis.

Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents from the age of 12: 1 capsule 3 x daily; in particularly persistent cases: 1 capsule 4 x daily; for further treatment in general: 1 capsule 2 x daily.
- Use in children: Soledum 200 mg capsules are not suitable for children under 12 years of age due to the high active ingredient content.
- Route of administration: Oral use. Please take Soledum 200 mg capsules unchewed with plenty of not too hot liquid (preferably 1 glass of drinking water [200 ml]) preferably 1/2 hour before meals. If you have a sensitive stomach, it is advisable to take Soledum 200 mg capsules during meals.
- Duration of use: The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the illness. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: 1,8-cineole 1 gastro-resistant soft capsule contains 200 mg 1,8-cineole.
- The other ingredients are Medium-chain triglycerides, sorbitol solution 70 % (non-crystallising), gelatine, glycerol 85 %, ethyl cellulose, concentrated ammonium hydroxide solution, oleic acid, sodium alginate, stearic acid, candelilla wax, purified water.
