Bepanthen® Plus Spray is very well suited for the initial treatment of superficial wounds with a risk of infection. Bepanthen® Plus Spray can be applied hygienically without touching the wound and hardly stings. It therefore also disinfects efficiently when travelling and also supports wound healing.

Active ingredient

Bepanthen® Plus Spray contains a disinfectant (chlorhexidine) and a healing-promoting (dexpanthenol) active ingredient:

Chlorhexidine:

Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant active ingredient that fights bacteria that have entered the wound through dirt. This can prevent or contain infection of the wound. Chlorhexidine has a bactericidal effect with a broad antibacterial spectrum.

Dexpanthenol:

Dexpanthenol is an active ingredient that supports wound healing. It supports the formation and regeneration of skin cells from the inside and thus promotes the formation of new skin tissue. This helps the wound to heal faster.

How to use

When should you use Bepanthen® Plus Spray?

All types of superficial wounds where there is a risk of infection: e.g. grazes, cuts, scratches or lacerations.
Spray Bepanthen® Plus Spray from a short distance onto the cleaned wound once or several times a day as required.
Avoid Bepanthen Plus Spray coming into contact with eyes, ears and mucous membranes.
Due to its spray form, it is not recommended for use on infants.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are: 1 ml Bepanthen Plus Spray contains 50 mg (= 5%) dexpanthenol and chlorhexidine digluconate solution 20% corresponding to 5 mg (= 0.5%) chlorhexidine digluconate as active ingredients.

The other ingredients are DL-pantolactone, macrogol lauryl ether, ethanol and purified water.
