Indications

For excessive gas formation and gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract (meteorism) with symptoms such as flatulence, bloating and a feeling of tension in the upper abdomen, which can be causedby swallowing air or by dietary or nutritional errors, for example .
for increased gas formation after operations and Roemheld syndrome.
to prepare the gastrointestinal area for diagnostic examinations to reduce gas shadows and to improve visualisation and/or to make the mucous membranes visible.

Dosage form

Chewable tablets

Application

The following is recommended for the treatment of flatulence and bloating: 1 - 2 tablets are taken 3 times a day with or after meals. If necessary, 1 - 2 tablets can also be taken before going to bed.
In preparation for diagnostic imaging examinations in the abdominal area , 2 - 3 tabletsare taken after each meal on the day before the examination for adults and on the morning of the day of the examination.

This dosage form is not suitable for children under 2 years of age.

Ingredients

The active substance is: simethicone

The other ingredients are Glucose, sucrose, glycerol monostearate SE, aetheroleum foeniculi, aetheroleum menthae piperitae, aetheroleum carvi.
