- Lefax® intens is the highest-dose Lefax® product and is therefore particularly helpful for more severe symptoms. It is used to relieve and treat gas-related gastrointestinal symptoms such as flatulence (meteorism), bloating, cramp-like abdominal pain or belching. It is also used to prepare for diagnostic examinations of the abdominal area, for example before an X-ray or an endoscopy.
- Despite its high dose of 250 milligrams per single dose, Lefax® intens is very well tolerated, as it acts purely physically and is not absorbed by the body: The active ingredient simeticone breaks down the gas bubbles that form during digestion and cause these unpleasant symptoms. This releases free gas, which is then expelled by the body.
- Lefax® intens liquid capsule – for anyone who prefers a tasteless form. Free from colourings and flavourings.

Directions for use
- Single dose | 1 sachet (equivalent to 250 mg simeticone)
- Total daily dose | 4 sachets (equivalent to 1000 mg simeticone)
In preparation for imaging examinations (adults and adolescents aged 14 and over):
- the day before the examination | 1–2 sachets (equivalent to 250 to 500 mg simeticone)
- On the morning of the examination | 1 sachet (equivalent to 250 mg simeticone)
Ingredients
- Each sachet contains 250 mg simeticone.
- Other ingredients: lemon flavouring, malic acid, cream flavouring, sorbitol, talc.
