OptiFibre® is a dietary food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) designed to support and regulate healthy gut flora. The soluble fibre in OptiFibre®, derived from guar beans, can be used by ‘good gut bacteria’ as a source of energy, thereby supporting healthy bowel function.

Directions for use
- Preparation: OptiFibre® can be stirred into both cold and warm liquids (e.g. drinks, soups, sauces) or soft foods (e.g. yoghurt, mashed potato, apple sauce). Carbonated drinks are not suitable.
- OptiFibre is tasteless and can therefore be stirred into any liquid. The exact dosage instructions, based on age and method of use, can be found on the product packaging. The manufacturer recommends starting with 1 sachet or 5 g of OptiFibre powder per day, stirred into approx. 200 ml of liquid. For a continued balanced diet, 1–5 sachets may be taken daily.
- Special notes: Suitable for pregnant women, children aged 3 years and over, and diabetics. Suitable as a dietary supplement. No habituation effect.

- Composition: Partially hydrolysed guar gum. May contain traces of milk.
- Nutrients per 5 g sachet: Energy kcal 10 / kJ 41, Fat (0% kcal) 0 g, Carbohydrates (12% kcal) 0.30 g, dietary fibre (85% kcal) 4.3 g, protein (3% kcal) < 0.075 g, salt (=Na (g) x 2.5) < 0.025 g, sodium < 10 g, potassium < 25 g, bread units (BE) 0.03.
