Application

Installation: 

1. Remove the cap from the refill pack by pressing down and turning it at the same time, and screw the active ingredient vial onto the PISTAL ELECTRIC ODOURLESS ELECTRIC MOSQUITO REPELLENT after removing the diffuser from its plastic packaging. Only the ‘PISTAL ODOURLESS ELECTRIC MOSQUITO REPELLENT’ refill pack must be used in combination with the diffuser . Using other refill packs poses a risk of poisoning or fire.
2. Plug the diffuser, with the refill bottle facing downwards, into a 220–230 V socket. The diffuser must be kept upright during use and storage to prevent leakage. Please note that the diffuser’s plug is adjustable and can be rotated to a vertical or horizontal position depending on the position of your wall socket.
3. Switch the diffuser on by pressing the on/off switch to activate the gel protection. An orange indicator light shows whether the diffuser is in operation. If you wish to switch the diffuser off, unplug it from the socket or press the on/off switch. The light will go out.

Notes: Use in a well-ventilated area. Can be used with windows open or tilted. 

To refill: Before changing the refill pack, unplug the diffuser and avoid touching the wick. Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.

Safety instructions: The diffuser becomes warm during use. Do not touch the diffuser with wet hands or metal objects. To ensure optimum protection, switch on the device 1 hour before going to bed and replace the bottle as soon as it is empty. Do not cover the diffuser with textiles or other flammable materials. Do not use near pregnant women or children under 2 years of age. Do not use the PISTAL ELECTRIC MOSQUITO PLUG (ODOURLESS) near young animals such as cats, fish, small birds and reptiles. This may cause temporary nerve damage in cats and other young animals . Terrariums, aquariums and animal cages should be removed from the room or properly covered before operating the diffuser. If the aquarium cannot be removed, switch off the aquarium pump or cover the aquarium before switching on the diffuser. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth (animals and humans). Do not use on food or surfaces that come into contact with food. Do not use in confined spaces without ventilation. Do not drink, eat or smoke in the room where the device is in operation. Always wash your hands after handling the product. Keep the packaging. If medical advice is required, have the package leaflet and the product container or label to hand.

If skin irritation or a rash occurs: Seek medical advice and have the product container or label to hand. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid inhaling vapours. IF SWALLOWED: Call the POISON INFORMATION CENTRE or a doctor immediately. DO NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. Collect any spilled liquid. Repeated contact may cause dryness or cracking of the skin. This appliance is suitable for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that supervision is ensured and information on the safe use of the appliance has been provided to enable them to understand the potential risks.
