How to use
- Candibene 1% cream should be applied thinly 2-3 times a day to the affected areas - Fungal diseases in the genital area (candida vulvitis, candida balanitis) should be applied 1-3 times a day to the affected areas. Local treatment with Candibene 1% cream should be carried out on both the patient and her partner to prevent recurrence of the symptoms.
- Children and adolescents: Data on a limited number of newborns, infants, toddlers, children and adolescents show no evidence of adverse effects with the use of Candibene 1% cream
- Method of application: Apply a thin layer of Candibene 1% cream to the carefully cleaned and dried, diseased areas. In the case of nail fungus, cut the nails short and roughen the surface to facilitate penetration of the cream. After applying the cream, cover the nails with an airtight protective bandage if necessary.
- Duration of application: Regular and sufficiently long application of Candibene 1% cream is necessary for the success of the treatment. To ensure complete healing, treatment should be continued for the recommended duration, even if the symptoms have already subsided. The duration of treatment for skin fungus depends on the severity, extent and location of the disease and is generally 2-6 weeks. Treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks until the pathological skin changes have completely disappeared and even after the symptoms have subsided. Fungal diseases of the nails: Due to the slow nail growth, a considerably longer treatment period is to be expected (rarely shorter than 3 months). Small lichen (pityriasis versicolor) usually heals in 1-3 weeks, dwarf lichen (erythrasma) in 2-4 weeks. 1-2 weeks of treatment is usually sufficient for fungal diseases in the genital area.

- The active ingredient is clotrimazole. 1 g cream contains 0.01 g clotrimazole.
- The other ingredients are: cetyl stearyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl palmitate, eutanol G, purified water.
