Travogen® Cream is a medicinal product containing the active ingredient isoconazole nitrate, for the effective treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin.
Travogen is a medicine used to treat superficial fungal infections of the skin, such as those affecting the spaces between the toes, the hands, the groin area, fungal infections in the genital area, and erythrasma (skin inflammation caused by a specific group of bacteria).
If you do not feel any better, or if your condition worsens, after 4 weeks, consult your doctor. A doctor’s prescription is required for the treatment of fungal infections in the genital area. Travogen is effective against all major fungi found on human skin.

Directions for use
- Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, follow the dosage instructions exactly. For use on the skin.
- Travogen Cream is applied once daily to the affected areas of skin.
- As a general rule for fungal infections, local treatment should be continued for 2–3 weeks; in the case of persistent infections (particularly between the toes), treatment may be continued for up to 4 weeks. Longer courses of treatment are possible if specifically prescribed by a doctor.
- To prevent relapses, you should continue the treatment for at least a further 2 weeks after the symptoms have subsided.
- Fungal infections are very persistent and protracted. To ensure successful treatment, you must apply Travogen Cream regularly and follow the recommended hygiene measures.
- Use in children and adolescents: Data from a limited number of infants, toddlers, children and adolescents provide no evidence of adverse effects associated with the use of Travogen Cream; however, no dosage recommendation can be given.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: isoconazole nitrate (1%). 1 g of cream contains 10 mg of isoconazole nitrate. 1 cm of Travogen Cream contains 2 mg of isoconazole nitrate.
- The other ingredients are: white petrolatum, heavy paraffin, cetylstearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, purified water.
