Active ingredients
- Thyme is not only an interesting aromatic plant, but also an important medicinal plant for coughs and disinfection. Its greatest strength lies in its positive effect on coughs. The ingredients in thyme help to clear stuck, thick mucus. The essential oil of the thyme herb, which is also contained in the dry extract, also has antiseptic properties.
- Marshmallow belongs to the mallow family and has been a highly valued medicinal plant since ancient times. The ingredients in marshmallow root soothe irritation of the mucous membranes and peripherally reduce the urge to cough. Areas of application: Irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat and the associated irritating cough.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:2 lozenges every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day, total daily dose up to 12 lozenges).
- Children from 4 to 12 years:1 lozenge every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day; total daily dose up to 6 lozenges).
- Children under 4 years of age:Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended.
Ingredients
- 1 lozenge contains:51.1 mg dry thyme extract (drug-extract ratio 7-13 : 1; extractant water) and 4.5 mg dry marshmallow root extract (drug-extract ratio, 7-9 : 1; extractant water)
- The other ingredients are:Arabic gum (gum arabic), sorbitol (E 420), maltitol (E 965), maltodextrin , citric acid anhydrous, saccharin sodium, aronia flavouring, wild berry flavouring, thin paraffin, bleached wax, purified water.
