Bronchostop® Irritable Cough Juice with the ReizStill formula of Iceland moss, marshmallow and hyaluronic acid is a medicinal product. The extracts act like a soothing protective film that coats the irritated pharyngeal mucosa and soothes the irritation of the cough.

Bronchostop® Irritable Cough Juice is intended for the relief of cold coughs (dry and productive) as well as cold-related sore throats, associated hoarseness, cough irritation and a scratchy feeling in the throat, dry mouth and throat and difficulty swallowing.

BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough Juice contains a ReizStill formula of Icelandic moss, marshmallow and hyaluronic acid.

The extracts of Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica) and marshmallow root (Althea officinalis) act like a soothing protective film that coats the irritated mucous membrane of the throat. The mucilage it contains forms a physical protective film that keeps out foreign particles and protects the mucous membrane. This alleviates the irritation caused by coughing and the mucous membrane can recover quickly. Hyaluronic acid and xanthan gum help to moisturise the mouth and throat and thus support the soothing properties of Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica) and marshmallow root (Althea officinalis). The combination of ingredients also promotes longer-lasting cough relief.

BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough also helps to protect the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat from drying out. BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough is a juice that contains mainly natural ingredients and is therefore very well tolerated. The juice is also sugar-free and therefore tooth-friendly.

In addition, BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough contains no alcohol, lactose, gluten or artificial colourings and no genetically modified organisms.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 15 ml 3 times a day.
• Children 6-11 years: 7.5 ml 3 times a day.
• Children 3-5 years: 5 ml 3 times a day.
• Children 1-2 years: 5 ml 2x daily.
• BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough Juice is recommended for children from 1 year of age.
• Use in patients with diabetes: 15 ml BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough contains 0.10 BE (bread units).
• Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding: It is not recommended to take BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  
• Advice: In children aged 1 to 4 years, however, a doctor should be consulted before using BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough Juice to rule out a more serious illness. A measuring cup is enclosed for easier dosing. BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough Juice contains methyl p-hydroxybenzoate and propyl p-hydroxybenzoate as preservatives and eucalyptus oil. These substances may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). This medical device contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per 15 ml, i.e. it is essentially "sodium-free".
• Concomitant use of BRONCHOSTOP® Irritating Cough Juice with other medicines: If you are taking other medicines, you should keep a time interval of half an hour to one hour before or after taking BRONCHOSTOP® Irritating Cough.
  
• Please consult a doctor if: Your symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days. symptoms such as fever or purulent sputum occur during the use of BRONCHOSTOP® Irritable Cough Juice.

• Composition per 15 ml contains: 324 mg Iceland moss dry extract (Cetraria islandica) 168 mg marshmallow root dry extract 25.80 mg sodium hyaluronate 60 mg xanthan gum.
• Other ingredients: Methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, xylitol, anhydrous glycerine, citric acid monohydrate, lemon-lime flavouring (contains limonene), saccharin sodium, eucalyptus oil (contains cineole), purified water.
