Elimax® Louse Defence Shampoo, 200 ML

Elimax® Anti-Lice Shampoo has been specially developed to prevent head lice infestations. This unique shampoo makes the hair unattractive to lice, whilst also cleansing, moisturising and conditioning it.

Elimax® Anti-Lice Shampoo offers effective protection against head lice and can be used to prevent re-infestation following a previous treatment for head lice.

How does it work?

LPF™ (Lice Protection Factor) is the ingredient that has helped Elimax® achieve a breakthrough in head lice treatment. LPF™ is a combination of ingredients added to Elimax® products to treat the hair in such a way that it is protected against new lice.

LPF prevents a new lice infestation through a two-pronged approach:

1. LPF™ coats the hair with a combination of a polymer and an oil, making it unattractive to lice. This also means that the hair has a lower static charge. This is important because hair is naturally very attractive to lice. Lice cannot jump or fly, but move by means of, for example, the static attraction of the hair. Hair treated with Elimax® therefore attracts fewer lice (passive prevention).
2. LPF™ treats the hair in such a way that its surface structure and odour become unattractive to lice. Elimax® has a pleasant scent for humans, which children also like. a. Lice will give treated areas a wide berth (active avoidance). b. If there are still lice in the hair, they will not lay eggs in the treated area (inhibition of egg-laying). This prevents a new lice infestation.

Directions for use

• Apply the shampoo to wet hair, just as you would your normal shampoo: leave it on for 2 minutes and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. For optimal effectiveness and protection, it is recommended to use Elimax® Lice Repellent Shampoo every 3 days.
• Notes: For external use only. Do not use Elimax® Lice Prevention Shampoo if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse the eyes or mucous membranes thoroughly with clean water.
