The active substance ambroxol contained in Ambrobene loosens congested and thickly adhering secretions from the bronchi and trachea and facilitates coughing.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 capsule once a day.
Children under 12 years of age: Ambrobene retard 75 mg capsules are not suitable for children under 12 years of age due to the high active ingredient content. Child-friendly products containing ambroxol in the form of juice and drops are available for these patients.
Route of administration: Oral use: take the capsules whole, preferably after meals. Take Ambrobene with plenty of liquid in the form of tea, fruit juice or water Note: plenty of liquid supports the mucolytic effect of Ambrobene.
Duration of use: If your symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 3 days, you should consult a doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is ambroxol. 1 capsule contains 75 mg ambroxol hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: Capsule contents: microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel Ph 102), microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium (Avicel RC 581), hypromellose, Eudragit RS 30 D, triethyl citrate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide. Capsule shell: upper part: gelatine, iron oxide yellow E 172, iron oxide black E 172, titanium dioxide E 171, iron oxide red E 172; lower part: gelatine.
