isla® Ginger + Honey lozenges are lozenges with Icelandic moss extract to soothe coughs and hoarseness. The combination of fresh ginger and sweet honey has a soothing effect and alleviates discomfort.

Our voice is a sensitive organ. The vocal chords are quickly affected by heavy or incorrect strain, dry air, e.g. in air-conditioned or heated rooms. The active ingredients from Icelandic moss, which are concentrated in Isla pastilles, dissolve when sucked and cover the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx like a protective layer.

This protects them from further attacks and allows them to recover more quickly. Isla pastilles soothe irritated coughs and hoarseness, care for and protect the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx and have a preventative effect when the vocal cords are under heavy strain. Isla is available in four different flavours!

Isla-Ingwer® has the spicy flavour of ginger, the natural sweetness of honey and the invigorating aroma of lemongrass.

When is isla® ingwer used?

The ingredients in isla® ginger act like a balm on the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx. The irritated mucous membrane is thus protected from further attacks and can recover more quickly thanks to the soothing effect, especially in the case of throat complaints caused by:

• Coughing and hoarseness
• Severe strain on the vocal cords (singers, speakers)
• Dry breathing air (heated or air-conditioned)
• Dry mouth
• Restricted nasal breathing.

How to use

• Adults and children aged 4 years and over should suck 1-2 lozenges several times a day as required. In children, care should be taken to ensure that they have already acquired the ability to suck in a controlled manner.
• Notes: If necessary, isla® ginger can also be used over a longer period of time. If there is no improvement after 10 days of treatment, please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in isolated cases.

Ingredients

• 1 lozenge contains 80 mg aqueous extract of Iceland moss (0.4 - 0.8 : 1).
• Other ingredients: Arabic gum, sucrose, honey, ginger oil, lemongrass oil, flavouring agent, low-viscosity paraffin, purified water.
• 1 lozenge contains 391 mg sucrose = 0.03 BE.
