Our nose - the guardian of our airways

Cold viruses reach the mucous membranes in the nasal cavity with the air we breathe in. If the invaders manage to penetrate the mucous membrane cells, it is too late to take preventative measures. The virus-induced inflammatory reaction causes the nasal mucosa to swell and hinders free breathing. The removal of mucus no longer functions optimally. The mucus becomes increasingly viscous and now forms a good breeding ground for bacteria. Good ventilation is required in this situation.

hysan® saline spray - when blocked noses need help

A concentrated sea salt solution naturally removes excess fluid from the swollen nasal mucosa; this is particularly desirable in the case of inflammatory swelling of the nose, as occurs in the course of cold infections. A hypertonic sea salt solution is therefore an excellently tolerated alternative to chemical-based cold sprays.

How to use

Remove the cap before each use.
Operate the pump until the solution comes out (usually 1-2 times), after which the system is ready for use for each further application.
Insert the spray opening into the nostril and pump once, inhaling gently. Spray 1-2 sprays into each nostril several times a day as required. For reasons of hygiene, please wipe off the nasal adapter after each use and close it with the protective cap.

Note on use: For reasons of hygiene and to avoid possible transmission of infection, each spray should only be used by one person. For this reason, it is also advisable to wipe the spray opening after use and keep it dry.
