Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 1 effervescent tablet 1 to 2 times daily (equivalent to 50 mg - 100 mg dry extract of ivy leaves per day).
- Children from 6 to 11 years: 1/2 effervescent tablet twice daily (corresponding to 50 mg dry extract of ivy leaves per day).
- Children from 2 to 5 years: The use is not intended. Preparations with other dosage strengths are available for children from 2 to 5 years of age.
- Route of administration: To be taken after dissolving. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water (hot or cold) before taking. The solution should not be drunk until the effervescent tablet has completely dissolved. For children aged 6-11 years, the amount of liquid should be chosen so that it can be drunk in a short time. The minimum volume of water required to dissolve half an effervescent tablet is 50 ml. The tablet can be divided into equal doses.
- Duration of use: Do not take Bronchoverde Cough Relief 50 mg Effervescent Tablets for longer than one week without medical advice.
- Note for diabetics: 1 effervescent tablet contains 0.03 BE.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: ivy leaf dry extract.
- 1 effervescent tablet contains 50 mg dry extract of ivy leaves (Hedera helix L., folium) in a ratio of drug to extract of 4-8:1. The extractant is ethanol 30 % (m/m).
- The other ingredients are: saccharin sodium, sorbitol (Ph. Eur.), simeticone, sodium cyclamate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate, citric acid, sodium dihydrogen citrate, blackcurrant flavouring, maltodextrin, macrogol 6000.
