Prospan cough lozenges are a herbal medicine for relieving coughs associated with colds. The lozenges make it easier to cough, relax the bronchial muscles and thus calm the cough.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, consult your doctor.

Prospan® provides 3-fold relief from coughs:

Mucolytic: Dissolves stuck mucus in the bronchial tubes and thus supports coughing up.
Relaxes the bronchial muscles: Breathe freely again: Thanks to the relaxing effect on the bronchial tubes, constricted airways are widened.
Relieves cough irritation: Relieves the annoying urge to cough so that you can quickly return to everyday life without being disturbed by coughing attacks.

With the power of ivy, Prospan loosens the mucus, clears the bronchial tubes and soothes the cough. Prospan is purely herbal, well tolerated, suitable for all ages and available in various forms. Coughing is particularly unpleasant when travelling, e.g. on the underground or in a meeting.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 lozenge every 1 to 2 hours, maximum 6 lozenges per day.
Children aged 4-11 years: 1 lozenge every 2 to 3 hours, maximum 4 lozenges per day.
Use in children: Prospan Cough Lozenges are not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
Method of use: Oral use (sucking). Prospan cough lozenges can be sucked independently of meals.
Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: dry extract of ivy leaves 1 lozenge contains 26 mg dry extract of ivy leaves (ratio of drug to extract 5 - 7.5 : 1; extractant: ethanol 30 % (m/m)).
The other ingredients are: Maltitol solution, Arabic gum, citric acid, acesulfame potassium, sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallising), medium-chain triglycerides, orange flavouring, menthol flavouring, purified water.
