Bepanthen® cream, 30 G

Bepanthen® Cream promotes healing in cases of superficial skin damage. The active ingredient, dexpanthenol, supports cell regeneration and the recovery of stressed skin.

The active ingredient, dexpanthenol, is rapidly converted within the cells into pantothenic acid, which is a B-complex vitamin. Pantothenic acid is essential for the formation and regeneration of the skin and mucous membranes. 

• Bepanthen Cream promotes the healing of skin and mucous membranes in cases of minor injuries (including minor burns and grazes) and skin irritations (e.g. as a result of sunburn). 
• Bepanthen Cream is used to prevent and treat dry, cracked or chapped skin.

Active ingredients

Bepanthen® Cream contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol.

• Dexpanthenol, the active ingredient in Bepanthen® Cream, is a provitamin and is rapidly converted in the body into the B vitamin pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid is a substance essential for metabolism and is therefore indispensable for the formation and regeneration of the skin and mucous membranes.
• Dexpanthenol, the ‘skin vitamin’, supports the skin’s natural healing process and has been used for many years to treat superficial skin injuries.

Directions for use

• Apply Bepanthen® Cream to dry areas of skin once or several times a day, as required.
• The cream is applied once or several times a day to the cleansed wound, damaged skin or mucous membrane. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the condition.
• Method of use: For use on the skin.

Ingredients

• What Bepanthen Cream contains: The active ingredient is: dexpanthenol. 1 g of cream contains 50 mg (= 5 %) dexpanthenol. 
• The other ingredients are: 2-hydroxy-3,3-dimethylbutyrolactone, phenoxyethanol, Amphisol K, cetyl alcohol, cetylstearyl alcohol, Adeps lanae (lanolin, wool wax) E 913, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol and purified water.
