How to use

• Apply Ichtholan® 50% Ointment to the area of skin to be treated as thick as the back of a knife and cover with a bandage. The dressing should be changed daily. Each time the dressing is changed, the ointment residue remaining on the skin must first be washed off before a new dressing is applied.
• Method of application: ICHTHOLAN® 50% Ointment is applied to the area of skin to be treated with the thickness of a knife and covered with a dressing. The dressing should be changed daily. • Duration of application: As a permanent dressing, the dressing should be changed after 3 days. If used as a permanent dressing, medical assistance should be sought, as this requires a special dressing technique.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient is ammonium bituminosulphonate (ICHTHYOL®).
• 1 g ointment contains 0.5 g ammonium bituminosulphonate (ICHTHYOL®).
• The other ingredients are: Yellow vaseline, microcrystalline hydrocarbons (C40-C60), lanolin, purified water
