Prospan® provides 3-fold relief from coughs:
- Mucolytic: Dissolves stuck mucus in the bronchial tubes and thus supports coughing up.
- Relaxes the bronchial muscles: Breathe freely again: Thanks to the relaxing effect on the bronchial tubes, constricted airways are widened.
- Relieves cough irritation: Relieves the urge to cough so that you can quickly return to everyday life without being disturbed by coughing attacks.
With the power of ivy, Prospan® is highly effective against coughs. Thanks to its triple action, stuck mucus is liquefied, the muscles of the bronchial tubes are relaxed and the cough is soothed. You can therefore cough up mucus more easily, breathe more easily and annoying coughing attacks are reduced. Prospan® is also well tolerated, even by the youngest children.

Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 5 ml of liquid 3 times a day.
- Children from 6 to 11 years: 5 ml of liquid twice a day.
- Note: Prospan Cough Liquid is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
- Method of application: Oral use. Prospan Cough Liquid from the bottle: To be taken with the enclosed measuring cup. Shake the bottle before each use! The liquid should be taken undiluted in the morning, (at midday) and in the evening.
- Duration of use: If the symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement after one week, a doctor must be consulted.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: dried ivy leaf extract 5 ml liquid contains 35 mg dried ivy leaf extract (ratio of drug to extract 5 - 7.5 : 1; extractant: ethanol 30% (m/m)).
- The other ingredients are: Potassium sorbate, anhydrous citric acid, xanthan gum, sorbitol solution 70% (E 420, crystallising), flavourings, levomenthol, purified water.
