Mucomat Irritable Cough 2.13 mg/ml oral solution is used for the symptomatic treatment of irritable cough in adults and children aged 6 years and over. Quick relief and help with dry cough.

Dosage form
Directions for use
- 20 to 26kg: 5 ml 3-4 times daily
- 27 to 45kg: 7.5 ml 3-4 times a day
- 46 to 60kg: 15 ml 3-4 times a day
- > 60kg: 15 ml 3-4 times daily
- If the cough also causes a sore throat, it is recommended to gargle with the dosed amount of solution before swallowing. If the dry cough causes problems sleeping, the last dose should be taken shortly before going to bed.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is pentoxyverine citrate. 1 ml of the oral solution contains 2.13 mg pentoxyverine citrate corresponding to 1.35 mg pentoxyverine.
- The other ingredients are Benzoic acid, liquid sorbitol (non-crystallising) (E420), glycerol, propylene glycol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, saccharin sodium, pear flavouring, juniper brandy flavouring (contains flavouring agents, benzyl alcohol [E1519] and alpha-tocopherol [E307]), purified water.
