Lymphdiaral® basic drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for use in cases of a tendency to infections involving the lymph nodes and tonsils.
Homeopathy is a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic diseases. The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures.
The following indications are authorised for this medicine:
- Tendency to infections and inflammatory diseases, especially with involvement of the local lymphatic system with swelling of the lymph nodes and tonsils,
- Infections of the tonsils, ears and sinuses.
The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in the above-mentioned indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these diseases, clinically proven therapy is indicated. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Strong defences thanks to a strong lymphatic system
- The lymphatic system plays a key role in a successful defence against infection. Especially in the ear, nose and throat (ENT) area, the entry point for most pathogens, the lymphatic system is very well developed: Tonsils, lymph nodes and mucous membranes with their strong defence lymph cells are concentrated here. Inflammation and swelling of these parts of the lymphatic system are a sign that the immune system is working at full speed in these areas.

- The Lymphdiaral® basic drops combine a total of 12 natural active ingredients. Three important active ingredients in Lymphdiaral® basic drops are dandelion (Taraxacum), marigold (Calendula) and celandine (Chelidonium). Dandelion is also known as "the purifier". It helps with cold-related complaints. Marigold (the wound healer) supports healing and helps with colds.
- Celandine (Chelidonium), known as "the gift from heaven", helps with lack of energy and inflammation. Through this natural interaction, Lymphdiaral® basic drops support the healing of inflammatory processes in the upper respiratory tract and strengthen the immune system for the healing process.
How is the lymphatic system structured and how does it work?
- The lymphatic system consists of lymphatic vessels that branch out into the finest branches, the lymph nodes and other lymphatic organs such as the spleen, thymus and the lymphatic structures of the respiratory and digestive tracts. The lymphatic system is widely ramified: If the lymphatic pathways were laid end to end, they would cover a distance of over 90,000 kilometres. The control centres of the lymphatic system are the 600 or so lymph nodes in the body.
- As part of our body's immune system, lymph nodes filter pathogens from the lymph fluid, render them harmless and remove them. The lymphatic fluid in the lymph vessels is often simply referred to as "lymph" for short. Unlike blood, lymph is usually a clear, watery fluid, although it is similar in composition to blood plasma. The lymph is formed in the tissue between the cells and then transported towards the heart via ever-growing lymphatic vessels.
What is the lymphatic system responsible for?
Above all, the lymph nodes and lymphatic organs, such as the tonsils in the throat, specifically produce or activate the defence cells that are needed to react to an infection and, if necessary, stop it. These are the so-called lymphocytes. Lymphocytes belong to the white blood cells and are transported via the blood and lymph lymph. You can tell that the lymph nodes are under strain when they enlarge and become (sometimes painfully) palpable.
The lymph nodes in the human body are mainly concentrated in the tissue around the groin, armpits and neck. It is easy to explain why the neck in particular is so heavily "guarded" by the immune system: So many lymphatic structures (tonsils, lymph nodes, mucous membranes) are gathered in the tissue of the neck area, as the neck is the main entry point for pathogens from the environment. The large lymphatic vessels then flow into the blood vessel system near the heart.
Unlike the circulatory system, however, the lymphatic system does not have a central motor that pumps the lymph. Instead of a centralised heart, the lymphatic system has countless small motors: the lymph vessels are divided into small sections ("lymphangions"), which are limited by two valves.
Each lymph vessel has its own small motor - a small heart, so to speak. This causes the vessel section to contract and the resulting pressure pumps the lymph fluid into the next lymphangion.
Tips to support the lymphatic system
- Fluids are important, so drink plenty. This also supports the lymph in its transport function!
- Warm drinks, e.g. tea or drinks with ginger, lemon and honey soothe an irritated throat.
- Take it easy on yourself!
- Eat a balanced diet with fresh fruit and vegetables. Vitamins are good for the weakened body and strengthen the immune system.
- Throat compresses (potato compresses, lemon compresses, curd compresses) are effective against inflammation, a mucous throat or swollen lymph nodes. You can also use Lymphdiaral® drainage ointment for a neck compress, e.g. overnight.

Adults and children aged 12 and over
- Acute: Take 10 drops every half hour to an hour, maximum 6 times a day.
- Chronic: Take 10 drops 1 to 3 times a day.
Children between 7 and 12 years of age
- Acute: Take 7 drops every half hour to an hour, at most 6 times a day.
- Chronic: Take 7 drops 1 to 3 times a day.
Infants between 1 and 6 years of age
- Acute: Take 5 drops every half hour to an hour, a maximum of 6 times a day.
- Chronic: Take 5 drops 1 to 3 times a day.
The dosage should be reduced when improvement begins. This can then be continued as described under ""chronic"".
