SANOPAL FORTE is a dietary food for special medical purposes (balanced diet)* for the dietary management of post-traumatic syndrome. The active ingredients and other components have been scientifically proven to improve physical performance and reduce oxidative stress in the shortest possible time.

SANOPAL FORTE helps to prevent and alleviate metabolic changes. These changes are stress responses following physical trauma, triggered by mental and/or physical strain or illness. SANOPAL FORTE counteracts this – by improving physical performance and reducing oxidative stress.

The use of SANOPAL FORTE is particularly recommended:

before surgical procedures, particularly in cases of poor health
after operations, accidents and serious illnesses (e.g. COVID-19 infection)
during and after rehabilitation (e.g. burnout)
reduces oxidative stress

A5H and COVID-19

At the start of the pandemic, all that was known was that the novel SARS-CoV-2 was a virus capable of causing severe damage to the lungs. We now know that the virus produces specific proteins that prevent the body from receiving an optimal supply of oxygen. Furthermore, systemic vascular inflammation can occur, with all its associated consequences, and the strain on the immune system leads to damage to organs and blood vessels. This also leads to oxidative stress, which causes further damage and inflammation, potentially resulting in exhaustion and reducing the body’s ability to produce energy.

Alpha-ketoglutarate and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (A5H) can support the body during and after an infection and have the following effects:

Sanopal forte during and after a COVID-19 infection

Good energy production and a strengthened immune system are key to combating infection. With Sanopal forte, you can strengthen your immune system, convert oxidative stress into energy and ensure good energy production. The A5H it contains can optimise oxygen supply to the tissues and increase our resilience.
Once you have recovered from a COVID-19 infection and are experiencing post-COVID syndrome, A5H is recommended to improve your energy production and performance. A5H supplies energy substrates to your cells, provides them with oxygen and converts ‘cellular waste’ into energy.

Dosage form

Directions for use

1 to 3 double sachets per day, as recommended by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Sanopal is best taken 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal. Should not be taken after 5–6 pm.
Recommended intake during an infection: take 2 double sachets daily. It is possible to take up to 6 sachets daily to optimise your oxygen supply.
Recommended intake for post-COVID syndrome: 2 sachets daily for at least 1 week, followed by 1 sachet daily for 2 weeks once symptoms have improved.
1 double sachet contains 2.4g of alpha-ketoglutarate and 240mg of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural.
Open 1 double sachet along the perforation, dissolve the contents of both parts in at least 1/4 litre of water and drink as directed by your doctor. Once prepared, the drink should be consumed within 24 hours. SANOPAL tastes best when chilled.
Information for diabetics: 1 double sachet contains 12 g of carbohydrates. This corresponds to 1 BE.
Tip: Sanopal Basic sachets can be combined with a double sachet of Sanopal Forte in a single drink.
Important note: Must only be used under medical supervision! Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool place. Dietary foods are not a substitute for a varied diet and are not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

Composition per 1 double sachet:2.4 g A-KGS and 0.24 g 5-HMF.
Nutritional information per 100 ml of concentrate: Energy: 856 kJ/200 kcal, Protein: 0 g, carbohydrates: 37 g, sugar: 37 g, fat: 0 g, saturated fatty acids: 0 g, salt: 3.13 g, potassium: 1758 mg¹, magnesium: 65.7 mg². ¹ Equivalent to 87.9% of the NRV – Nutrient Reference Value. ² Equivalent to 17.5% of the NRV – Nutrient Reference Value.
SANOPAL FORTE contains A5H – a patented combination of active ingredients comprising A-KGS (alpha-ketoglutarate) and 5-HMF (5-hydroxymethylfurfural).
