Liposomal vitamin C is an innovative formulation that ensures maximum absorption of the important immune vitamin from the gastrointestinal tract. Vitamin C liposomes are tiny vesicles in which the water-soluble vitamin is surrounded by a membrane envelope (phospholipid bilayer). This protects the vitamin C from degradation in the digestive tract, makes it very well tolerated and better absorbed than conventional vitamin C. The liposomal formulation achieves higher vitamin C plasma levels and thus an optimised immune-boosting and antioxidant effect.
