Kaloba drops are a herbal medicinal product made from Pelargonium root (Pelargonii radix) (Cape Pelargonium) for the symptomatic treatment of acute bronchial infections with cough and mucus production.

First aid for colds

Kaloba® drops should be taken as soon as the first symptoms of a cold appear. To prevent a relapse, the drops should be continued for several days after the symptoms have subsided. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks. The active ingredient extract from the Cape geranium contained in Kaloba® drops is obtained exclusively from plants grown organically according to strict quality criteria and is also available as a syrup for the little ones.

First aid for bronchitis

Kaloba® drops are a herbal medicine specially authorised for bronchitis. In addition to its expectorant effect, Kaloba® Drops also combats the viruses responsible for bronchitis.

Active ingredient

EPS 7630 is a special extract from the roots of Pelargonium sidoides DC (South African Cape geranium).
According to the clinical study with 10,000 patients (Frontiers in Pharmacology October 2021 - Article 757666), EPS 7630 blocked the entry of SARS-CoV 2 into human lung cells and also limited the replication of the viruses.

How to use

Suitable for children from 1 year of age.
Children from 1-5 years: 10 drops 3 x daily
Children from 6-12 years: 20 drops 3 x daily
Adults and adolescents from 12 years: 30 drops 3 x daily.

Method of administration

Please take the drops in the morning, at midday and in the evening with a little liquid. Hold the bottle vertically for dripping and tap lightly against the base of the bottleif necessary.

Duration of use

If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks. It is advisable to continue treatment for several days after the symptoms have subsided in order to avoid a relapse.

Ingredients

The active substance is: liquid extract of Pelargonium root (Pelargonii radix) (drug extract ratio (DEV) 1 : 8 - 10) (EPs® 7630 ). The extractant is ethanol 11% (m/m).
10 g (= 9.73 ml) solution contains: 8.0 g liquid extract of Pelargonium root (Pelargonii radix). 1 ml corresponds to 21 drops.
The other ingredients are: Glycerol 85%, ethanol 96 % (total alcohol content 12 % by volume)
