Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 7.5 ml of syrup three times daily
- Children aged 6–11 years: 5 ml of syrup three times daily
- Children aged 1–5 years: 2.5 ml of syrup three times a day
- For oral use.
- Take the syrup in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening.
- A measuring cup is provided for dosing Kaloba syrup.
- The measuring cup has markings. Please open the bottle and slowly fill the measuring cup to the required amount in millilitres (ml).
- Wash the measuring cup under running water after each use and dry it afterwards.
- If you do not feel any better, or if you feel worse, after 7 days, contact your doctor.
- The course of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks.
- It is advisable to continue the treatment for several more days after the symptoms have subsided to prevent a relapse.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: dry extract from pelargonium root (Pelargonii radix) (Drug-to-Extract Ratio (DEV) 4–25 : 1) (EPs®7630). The extraction solvent is 11% ethanol (m/m).
- 100 g (=93.985 ml) of syrup contains 0.2506 g of dry extract from pelargonium root (Pelargonii radix).
- The other ingredients are: maltodextrin, xylitol, glycerol 85%, anhydrous citric acid, potassium sorbate (Ph. Eur.), xanthan gum, purified water.
