Colds are usually caused by viruses and occur during the cold autumn and winter months. A cold causes the mucous membrane in our nose to swell, as more fluid is retained in the mucous membranes.

ratioSoft® PLUS Dexpanthenol with the 2-in-1 effect

ratioSoft® plus Dexpanthenol nasal spray ensures that blocked noses can breathe freely again in no time! As well as the decongestant xylometazoline, ratioSoft® plus also contains the soothing active ingredient dexpanthenol, which supports the healing of the nasal mucosa damaged and swollen by a cold. This soothing ingredient promotes the healing of damaged nasal mucosa and protects against dryness.

Usage

To reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in cases of a cold and to support the healing of skin and mucosal damage (lesions), episodic runny nose (vasomotor rhinitis) and to treat nasal breathing difficulties following surgical procedures on the nose.

Dosage:

For adults and children over 6 years of age, the dose is as required, but no more than 3 times a day: 1 spray of ratioSoft plus Dexpanthenol 1.0 mg/50 mg/ml nasal spray into each nostril. The recommended doses must not be exceeded. ratioSoft plus Dexpanthenol 1.0 mg/50 mg/ml nasal spray is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. It must not be used in children aged 6 years and under.
Children and adolescents: ratioSoft plus Dexpanthenol 1.0 mg/50 mg/ml nasal spray is used in children over 6 years of age and administered as described above. ratioSoft plus Dexpanthenol 1.0 mg/50 mg/ml nasal spray must not be used in children aged 6 years and under. Other strengths may be more suitable for use in this population. The dosage depends on individual sensitivity and clinical response. ratioSoft plus Dexpanthenol nasal spray must not be used for longer than 7 days, unless prescribed by a doctor.
