Grippostad Acute ASA/pseudoephedrine hydrochloride with orange flavour is used for the symptomatic treatment of swelling of the mucous membranes of the nose and paranasal sinuses in rhinosinusitis, pain and fever as part of a cold or flu-like infection.

Grippostad Akut ASS/Pseudoephedrin hydrochloride 500 mg/30 mg with orange flavour contains the active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid and pseudoephedrin hydrochloride. If you only have one of the above complaints, treatment with a preparation containing only one active ingredient is preferable. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor. Grippostad Akut ASA/pseudoephedrine hydrochloride with orange flavour is intended for use in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over.

If your nose is blocked and your head hurts, Grippostad® Akut can help. The practical Grippostad® Akut granules also dissolve in cold water, help you to breathe freely again quickly and reliably relieve cold-related pain and fever.

Properties

ASA (acetylsalicylic acid) can relieve cold-related pain, reduce fever and inhibit inflammation.
Pseudoephedrine has a vasoconstrictive effect and thus reduces swelling of the nasal mucous membranes.
It couldn't be simpler, because this Grippostad® Akut for dissolving is also soluble in cold water. And it has a pleasant orange flavour.
Quick effect for colds, cold-related pain and fever.
Practical Grippostad® for dissolving in separate sachets for easy use.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents aged 16 and over:

Single doses: 1 - 2 sachets
Maximum daily dose: Up to 6 sachets

If necessary, the single dose can be repeated at intervals of 4 - 8 hours. However, you must not exceed the maximum daily dose of 6 sachets.

Use in children and adolescents: Do not use in children and adolescents under the age of 16 without medical advice. Due to limited experience, no dosage recommendations can be given for this group of people.
Route of administration: Oral use: Add the contents of 1 or 2 sachets of granules to a glass of water and stir well. Drink the entire glass immediately. Note: The granules do not dissolve completely. Grippostad Acute ASA/pseudoephedrine hydrochloride with orange flavour can be taken independently of meals.
Duration of use: Do not take this medicine for longer than 3 days. Please talk to your doctor if you still have a blocked nose, pain or fever after 3 days of treatment

Ingredients

The active ingredients are acetylsalicylic acid and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Each sachet contains 500 mg acetylsalicylic acid and 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are sucrose, hypromellose, citric acid, anhydrous, saccharin and orange flavouring (contains maltodextrin, gum arabic, ascorbic acid, butylhydroxyanisole and flavourings).
