Of course, the tasty Prospan® acute effervescent tablets can also be dissolved in cold water.
With the power of ivy, Prospan loosens the mucus, clears the bronchial tubes and soothes the cough. Prospan is purely herbal, well tolerated, suitable for all ages and available in various forms. The fast-dissolving Prospan effervescent tablets are cough medicine + hot drink in one. Because when the mucous membranes are irritated, drinking enough is particularly important for recovery. Simply dissolve in water - particularly pleasant in winter. Prospan Brew Tablets contain no sugar or alcohol and are also suitable for diabetics.

Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 effervescent tablet twice daily.
- Children from 4 to 11 years: ½ effervescent tablet 3 times a day.
- Use in children: Prospan acute is not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
- Method of administration: To be taken after dissolving. The effervescent tablet can be divided into equal doses. The effervescent tablets are dissolved in a glass of water (100 ml - 200 ml) and taken. Both hot and cold water can be used for dissolving.
- Duration of use: If the symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement after 1 week, consult your doctor.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: dried ivy leaf extract. 1 effervescent tablet contains 65 mg ivy leaf dry extract (ratio of drug to extract 5-7.5:1; extractant: ethanol 30% (m/m)).
- The other ingredients are: Anhydrous citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate, mannitol (E 421), simethicone, saccharin sodium, sodium cyclamate, sodium citrate dihydrate, sorbitol (E 420), medium-chain triglycerides, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, orange flavouring (contains 29.7 mg lactose).
