Prospan Cough Liquid is a herbal medicine to loosen mucus in coughs associated with colds. The liquid facilitates expectoration, relaxes the bronchial muscles and soothes the cough. Ideal for travelling.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 3 x 1 sachet (5ml).
• Children from 6-12 years: 2 x 1 sachet (5 ml).
• Note: Prospan Cough Liquid is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
• Method of use: To be taken from the sachet. The liquid should be taken undiluted in the morning, (at midday) and in the evening. The packaging chosen for Prospan Cough Liquid from the sachet is easy to tear open and the contents are convenient to take. The exact handling is shown in the diagram. 1. knead the sachet slightly before use! 2. press the liquid down and tear open the sachet. 3. bring the sachet to your mouth and pull it out.
• Duration of use: If the symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement after one week, a doctor must be consulted.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient is: dried ivy leaf extract 5 ml liquid contains 35 mg dried ivy leaf extract (ratio of drug to extract 5 - 7.5 : 1; extractant: ethanol 30% (m/m)).
• The other ingredients are: Potassium sorbate, anhydrous citric acid, xanthan gum, sorbitol solution 70% (E 420, crystallising), flavourings, levomenthol, purified water.
