Mucobene® 600 mg soluble powder is a medicine used to loosen mucus and facilitate coughing in respiratory diseases. The active ingredient acetylcysteine liquefies thick mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up.

The active ingredient acetylcysteine contained in Mucobene 600 mg soluble powder liquefies thick mucus in the respiratory tract. Mucobene 600 mg soluble powder is suitable as an additional therapy together with plenty of fluids to loosen mucus and facilitate expectoration in respiratory diseases (lungs and bronchi).

If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 to 5 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents over 14 years: 1 sachet daily.
Children and adolescents under 14 years of age: Mucobene 600 mg should not be used due to its high active ingredient content. Acetylcysteine in suitable pharmaceutical forms with a loweractive ingredient content is availablefor these patients.
Route of administration: To be taken by mouth after dissolution. The powder istaken after meals dissolved in a ½ glass of water or fruit juice.
Instructions: Always prepare the solution fresh.Do not take the powder undissolved . The mucolytic effect is enhanced by drinking plenty of fluids.
Duration of use: If your symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 4-5 days, you should consult a doctor.

The active ingredient is acetylcysteine. 3 g powder (1 sachet) contains 600 mg acetylcysteine.
The other ingredients are:sucrose, orange flavouring, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, anhydrous; tartaric acid, sodium chloride.
