Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1 sachet 3 times daily (morning, noon, evening).
- Children from 6 to 11 years: 1 sachet twice daily (morning, evening).
- Children under 6 years of age: Kaloba Direkt is not suitable for children under 6 years of age due to the pharmaceutical form. Kaloba drops for oral use or Kaloba syrup are also available for children aged 1 year and over.
- Method of administration: Oral use. Hold the sachet by the arrows and shake briefly so that the contents settle. Tear open the sachet along the arrows. Pour the granules directly into the mouth. It dissolves in the saliva and can be swallowed directly. If desired, some liquid can be drunk afterwards.
- Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks. It is advisable to continue treatment for several days after the symptoms of the illness have subsided to prevent a relapse.
Ingredients
- The active substance is: dry extract of Pelargonium root (Pelargonii radix) (drug extract ratio (DEV) 4 - 25 : 1) (EPs® 7630). The extracting agent is ethanol 11% (m/m).
- 1 sachet of 800 mg granules contains 20 mg dry extract of Pelargonium root (Pelargonii radix) as active ingredient.
- The other ingredients are Maltodextrin, xylitol, highly dispersed silicon dioxide.
