Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents aged 12 years and over: The recommended dose is 1–2 sprays. Repeat the dose 3–5 times a day. Leave an interval of at least 2 hours between doses.
- Children aged 6 to 12 years: The recommended dose is 1 spray. Repeat the dose 3–5 times a day. Leave an interval of at least 2 hours between doses.
- Children under 6 years of age: Do not use Tantum Verde Protect in children under 6 years of age.
- Duration of use: Do not use this medicine for longer than 7 days without consulting a doctor. Speak to your doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days. Consult your doctor if the symptoms recur or if you have recently noticed any change in your symptoms.
- Method of use:Lift the pump nozzle and press the spray head 1–2 times, as shown in the illustration: When using the medicine for the first time, press the spray head at least 4 times until a steady spray is produced. Do not inhale the medicine. Hold your breath whilst spraying. To achieve the best results, do not use Tantum Verde Protect immediately before or after brushing your teeth.
Ingredients
- The active substances are: benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. 1 ml of spray for use in the oral cavity; the solution contains 1.5 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride and 5 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride.
- The other ingredients are: glycerol (E422), sodium saccharin (E954), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, mint flavouring (contains allergens: benzyl alcohol, cinnamyl alcohol, citral, citronellol, geraniol, isoeugenol, D-limonene, linalool and eugenol) and purified water.
