Dosage form
Directions for use
- Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents aged 12 and over: The recommended dose is 1-2 sprays. The dose should be repeated 3-5 times a day. Leave an interval of at least 2 hours between each dose.
- Children aged 6 to 12 years: The recommended dose is 1 spray. Repeat the dose 3-5 times a day. Leave an interval of at least 2 hours between doses.
- Children under 6 years of age: Do not use Tantum Verde Protect in children under 6 years of age.
- Duration of use: Do not use this medicine for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor. Consult your doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days. Consult your doctor if symptoms recur or if you notice a recent change in symptoms.
- Method of application: Lift the pump nozzle and actuate the spray head 1-2 times as shown in the illustration: When applying the medicine for the first time, press the spray head at least 4 times until a steady spray is obtained. The medicine must not be inhaled. Hold your breath while spraying. To achieve optimum results, do not use Tantum Verde Protect immediately before or after cleaning your teeth.
Ingredients
- The active ingredients are: Benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. 1 ml spray for use in the oral cavity, solution contains 1.5 mg benzydamine hydrochloride and 5 mg cetylpyridinium chloride.
- The other ingredients are: Glycerol (E422), saccharin sodium (E954), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, mint flavouring (contains allergens: benzyl alcohol, cinnamon alcohol, citral, citronellol, geraniol, isoeugenol, D-limonene, linalool and eugenol) and purified water.
