ratioDolor® lozenges containing flurbiprofen provide rapid relief from a sore throat. The tried-and-tested active ingredient flurbiprofen has pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. ratioDolor® flurbiprofen lozenges can be used to treat sore throats involving inflammation of the throat lining, pain and swelling, as well as difficulty swallowing.
A soothing, relieving protective film forms within a very short time – a significant reduction in the intensity of the sore throat and difficulty swallowing is noticeable within just 22 minutes.
ratioDolor Flurbiprofen 8.75 mg lozenges contain flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This medicine works by affecting how the body reacts to pain, swelling and fever.

Usage
For adults and children aged 12 years and over:
- 1 lozenge every 3–6 hours, if necessary
- Do not take more than 5 lozenges within 24 hours.
- Take 1 lozenge and let it dissolve slowly in your mouth.
- Keep moving the lozenge around in your mouth whilst it is dissolving.
Use in children:
- Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
Notes: These lozenges are intended for short-term use only. You shoulduse them for the shortest possible period and only take as many lozenges as you need to relieve your symptoms. If irritation occurs in the mouth, treatment with flurbiprofenmust be discontinued.
