Indications:

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothache and menstrual pain. To relieve pain and fever in colds and flu-like infections.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 - 4 days with pain and after 3 days with fever, if new symptoms occur (e.g. redness or swelling), it is essential to consult a doctor, as these may be signs of a serious illness.

With Aspirin® 500 mg Chewable Tablets you have quick help at hand at all times in case of pain. You can take the chewable tablets very conveniently without liquid: simply put them in your mouth, chew and swallow.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:

Single dose: 1 - 2 chewable tablets (corresponding to 500 mg - 1000 mg acetylsalicylic acid). If necessary, the single dose can be taken up to 3 times a day after a minimum interval of 4 hours. Daily dose: 3 to a maximum of 6 chewable tablets (corresponding to 1500 - 3000 mg acetylsalicylic acid).
The maximum daily dose of 6 chewable tablets (corresponding to 3000 mg acetylsalicylic acid) must not be exceeded.

Use in children under 12 years of age: Medicines containing ASA (such as Aspirin 500 mg Chewable Tablets) may only be given to children under 12 years of age with a doctor's prescription. Aspirin 500 mg chewable tablets are not suitable for children as this dosage form cannot be used for paediatric doses.

Method of administration: Oral use (chewing). Aspirin 500 mg Chewable Tablets are tablets for chewing. Water can be drunk after chewing. Do not take on an empty stomach. If the patient is lying down, the tablets should be taken with plenty of water.

Duration of use: Aspirin 500 mg Chewable Tablets should not be taken for more than 3-4 days for pain and for more than 3 days for fever without a doctor's prescription. If pain or fever persists or even worsens during this time, if new symptoms occur (e.g. redness or swelling), you must consult a doctor, as these may be signs of a serious illness.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is acetylsalicylic acid. 1 chewable tablet contains 500 mg acetylsalicylic acid (ASA).
The other ingredients are calcium stearate, maize starch, mannitol (E 421), aspartame (E 951), ascorbic acid, citric acid, magnesium carbonate, starch, sodium carbonate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, special dry flavouring, mandarin juice flavouring, orange flavouring, yellow orange S (E110).
