Directions for use
- The recommended dose is: Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 1 tablet twice daily.
- Use in children: This medicine is not suitable for children under 12 years of age due to its strength. Suitable tablets with a lower strength are available for children from 4 to 12 years of age.
- Route of administration: Oral use: Take Esberitox® forte in the morning and evening with sufficient liquid, preferably 1 glass of water. The tablets can also be chewed. Treatment should be started at the first signs of a cold.
- Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 10 days, consult your doctor. Esberitox forte must not be taken for longer than 8 weeks without interruption.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: 1 tablet contains: 16 mg dry extract (drug-extract ratio (DEV) 4-9:1) from a mixture of dyer's coneflower rhizome (Baptisiae rhizoma), purple coneflower root (Echinaceae purpureae radix), pale-coloured coneflower root (Echinaceae pallidae radix) and arborvitae tips and leaves (Thujae occidentalis herba) in a ratio of 4.92:1.85:1.85:1. Extractant: ethanol 30% (V/V).
- The other ingredients are: mannitol, betadex, lemon flavouring, glycerol dibehenate, magnesium stearate, citric acid monohydrate, saccharin sodium.
